I believe our state government is out of control.  The people in charge of our Education System are more interested in power and money then our CHILDREN!  Why else is the drop out rate in California over 40%?  The focus has been removed from our children.  Retaining jobs, even of unqualified personnel is more important.  This is seen by the fact that staff reductions are done on a last in, first out policy.  Not based on performance.   Teachers arrested for drug use continue to collect a paycheck, even after they are removed from the classroom.

It’s time to remove the Labor Union controlled incumbents from power.

It’s time that parents manage the education of our children…………Not Labor Unions!……….Not Government Bureaucrats!

The reputation of our schools should attract families and businesses to Simi Valley.

Isn’t it time that we demand accountability and better results for all the money we have put into our schools and the Labor Unions pockets!  Over half of all California tax dollars go to education spending, yet we are ranked near the bottom in nationwide rankings. Why are our students not the best in the country? Our administrators and teachers are some of the highest paid in the country, yet the district cannot provide basic supplies in the classrooms.  Our teachers have buy paper and pencils.  Don’t they deserve the tools to do the best job possible?  Isn’t it time for the truth?

Why don’t we have more fundamental schools? What about “Charter Schools”? Our incumbents and unions don’t want them…Why? Are they afraid that the parents and people of Simi Valley will hold them accountable?

With over 20 years experience in Financial Analysis and Budget Management, I will be your watchdog over the taxpayer’s money being spent in our schools.

We need to cut the bureaucracy. Isn’t it about time to get “Back to Basics” in our classrooms. We have had enough of “Special Interest” agendas.

I have lived in Simi Valley for 9 years with my husband and family. I want my kids and yours to attend the best public schools in the state.
